![]() It doesn’t matter whether you like these changes or not. In ME2, they removed almost all of the RPG elements, making it even less of a RPG. ME1 was an action game with RPG elements. ME2 is, in many ways, a different game than ME1. Since Mass Effect is a trilogy, and ME2 is a continuation of ME1, you should review ME2 as a sequel to ME1. Not everyone who bought ME2 has completed ME1. But the question you have to ask yourself is: is this game good enough to overlook these flaws? No game is perfect and no game will ever be perfect. Some of you might say: “ But ME1 also has a lot of flaws.” And you’re right. If you haven’t played ME1, you probably won’t understand some of my arguments. ![]() I just think it’s a big disappointment if you compare it to ME1. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think ME2 is a bad game. I’ll try to explain why I don’t like ME2 in this blog.
